That's old news. And, a plus for the PS3.

It had an update and now DOES do uncompressed TrueHD.

Which is the big plus: the PS3 is an upgradeable BR player.

Could you explain that to me about the uncompressed TrueHD?

It can decode it and you can either get at it through the 7.1 analog channels but it'll decode it internally also and output the audio through the LPCM but not 'untouched' and letting the amp decode it....
