Default Since I couldn't make the GTA lunch meet today, I started some spring cleaning...

Woke up a bit too late to do the full Zanio treatment, so I just did a good wash, used some goo gone to clean up some of the crap that was stuck to my car, and then used a spray gloss.

The other car just came out of winter storage so it got a good wash and wax, and will be getting the full zanio treatment next weekend with mine...

Here's the product of today's work...

and the mandatory garage pic..

Default Lookin' sharp!

I definetly need to clean the surface one of these days, a lot of road tar on the left rear bumper.

Also amazing how fast things got green lately. Wonder if those two days of 25-27 degrees had antyhing to do with it!

Default Ya it had to be those couple of days...

The Goo Gone worked pretty well with a lot of the crap that was on my wheels and on the bottom part of my car... There is still a lot of surface contaminents on my paint though (look like little rust spots), I bought a clay bar kit today that I'm gonna try out next weekend... from what I've read that will have the car back to perfect shape, and leave the surface clean and feeling like glass!

You are welcome to come by for a detailing day sometime if you want... I've a a porter cable buffer and all the goodies that we'd need... Beer included! LOL!

Default Actually I got it from Canadian Tire...

In the automotive section there was the special automotive goo gone... This stuff works really well... Helped me in debadging my A4 logo today... I replaced it with an Audi Sport logo...

When I first got it off, there was soo much glue left on the car I thought I was screwed... A few goo gone treatments and a scraping tool made from a popsicle stick was all it took to make it look like nothing was ever there...

Good luck with the debadging...

Default Nice work...

...porter cable buffer would make it so much easier, that's an awesome tool. Sounds like you've got quite the setup for detailing.
