2015 Q5 TDI Noise under the car after speed bump
Hi,
I have just got my brand new 2015 Q5 TDI for three weeks and around 1000 miles.
For the past week I have noticed some weird noise which sounds a bit like the clicking noise of a spring compressing and releasing noice under the car when I go through a speed bump with low speed.
In total the noise has happened 3 times. All of which happens after the following action taken place:
1. Brake to low speed
2. Go though speed bump
3. Step on gas padel.
For the first time, after No.3 stated above, I continued on stepping on the gas padel and the there is around 4 click sound and it disappears.
For the second and third time, I immediately release the gas padel after the first click for one second and step on gas padel again. The noise goes away after releasing the gas padel and does not come back after that release, even if you immedeately step on it again.
The noise seems to be quite random and I do not have a clear method of reproducing it, so it is quite hard to record the noise. Out of around hundreds of going through speed bump it has happened 3 times. But step 1-3 listed above are the common action taken place before the noise comes in.
Is this normal or has anyone experienced it?
Thank you all for the potential help.
