Audi Warranty - which mods invalidate
Does anyone know what type of mods invalidate your warranty?
I know any Engine modifications will invalidate it but Would exterior body work not effect it? like changing out your exhaust system? or changing out your brakes? (ex. SQ5 brakes on a Q5) or front side grille?
And what if you use parts other than Audi parts for body part mods?

yes, any part that is not OE Audi and that is not installed by the dealer will void that part of the warranty. If you have an aftermarket exhaust and an exhaust hanger breaks, you'll pay for it. If you're lowered on springs and your control arm goes out, you'll pay for it. If you modify electrical in your car and you start throwing codes, you'll pay for it. However, its not likely to effect other parts of your warranty with the exception of a tune. If you buy new rims and your radio stops working, they'll most likely fix it under warranty.

Whatever you change, anything that can be blamed on your modification will not be covered. By law they have to prove your modification caused the issue but when they do, you're still stuck with the bill.
