What phone do you have? My Galaxy S3 auto connects to both Audi Mmi and Tunelink.

Sorry for the dumb question, but I was under the impression that the MMI on the 2013 could already stream music via Bluetooth. What am I missing here...?

We're talking about previous generation MMI systems found on the 2012 and prior, NOT 2013

Confirmed iPhone 5 can connect to phone and Bluetooth stream simultaneously. I've noticed the music skips now and then, not sure why but it could be either the car Bluetooth is updating contacts or something or I have too many apps running. It's very intermittent though, I'll try and figure out why.

Ah. Thanks. I'm new to all things Audi. We're about to by the Q5 3.0T. I hadn't realized that they had changed the MMI between MY12 & 13.

The 3.0T is one hell of an engine so I hear. Good luck with your purchase! And never fear, your new MMI system is way more advanced than the old one, you can stream your music library or pandora or whatever you fancy wirelessly over A2DP and it even shows album art. Long ago when I had my Jeep I tried to wire in an apple airport express into my glovebox so I could AirPlay into the car. Now all I need is a modded cable and transmitter and it works beautifully

Mine does the same, it's the phone. Apple's BT stack isn't as polished as it should be.

Does yours auto connect to both when you get into the car?

This work fine on my 4s linking to the default Audi BT endpoint for handsfree and a Blackberry Music Gateway for A2DP
