Is my Euro SQ5 Bi-TDi turbo loud?
OK so I have a SQ5 Bi-TDi on 6 months/2000 miles and the last month or so I have noticed what I think is the turbo (a high pitched wooshing noise on pull away and gear change) start to get louder... I think?
Now not only me but the wife commented too and although I would not consider it loud I have nothing to compare to as no one else that I know has a SQ5 locally.
My obvious thought is that with our warmer weather lately I usually have the window open so it may just sound louder than over the winter and now I am listening for it I notice it?
It is more noticeable in S mode but then I guess it should be...
Anyway any ideas or comments and should I worry?

Can't be turbo because it doesn't have one.
If you're only at 2000 miles, it's probably normal and could be the supercharger whine. Here's an example of supercharger whine after a few mods:

Suggestion for better info
For OP, you have an unusual profile here that the post title obscures. The problem is AW is a North America centric board, and in turn SQ5's are thought of as gas, supercharged and a pumped up version of the 3.0T. There are folks on these and other AW boards from Europe, Australia and other places--which is great to see BTW--but 90%+ are probably U.S.
Net, a minor tweak like is my Euro SQ TDI too loud or some such might at least get the TDI owners' attention. I think that's your better sample set absent other Euro SQ owners, and there are a fair number of TDI enthusiasts here. You have to have edit rights to do it, which you get via the AW Feedback board. Or, try a new post if this one peters out, or some of the Euro-based Audi boards.

Sorry guys, did not mean to mislead... Did not realise the issues!
I'm just off to work now but I'll edit everything when I get a chance but thanks for the heads up.

The only time I ever drove the SQ5 TDI, I didn't really notice any turbo noise, but we weren't specifically listening for it, and we probably had the windows closed too. Your car is new enough that it's still under warantee, I'd bring it to the dealer to have it looked at if it concerns you. Honestly, assuming no problem, I'd actually prefer to hear some turbo sound from the TDI engines, which here in the USA are so quiet, you don't hear a peep from the turbo.
