Thanks for the feedback, I'm probably being paranoid or it is not even the turbo that is making the noise but something else which is meant to be like that but never having heard another one it is difficult to judge.

I'll try and drop by the dealers over the next week and update the thread.

This looks like a stock SQ5 TDI. I don't notice any loud turbo/wastegate noises.
