Default Need help with OBD2 codes

Car is a 2014 Q5 3.0T. A few weeks ago the check engine light came on and I bought an OBD2 scanner to verify what it was. Code was the following:

P0456 - Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (very small leak)

I had already checked the gas cap, so after doing some research I figured it was probably the purge valve. I already had an appointment for my scheduled maintenance, so I decided to wait. The check engine light disappeared after a week so I thought all was ok.

Today was my 25,0000km maintenance, and I mentioned it to the advisor. From what I understood, they changed the purge valve, but the check engine light came back on with another code:

P2024 - Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Fuel Vapor Temperature Sensor Circuit

Any idea what could be wrong now? Sounds like they unplugged something and forgot to plug it back in.

Finally got my car back.

Since P0456 was in memory, they followed TSB #2035073/7 and replaced the EVAP leak detection pump with part number 8K0-906-253-H. That part was causing the P2024 code since it was blowing the fuse.

They call the tech hotline and were told that the TSB had been updated to #2035073/8, and that the correct part number was 8K0-906-253-J. (that TSB wasn't appearing in their system for some reason) They replaced with the correct part and problem solved.

A bit of a hassle to lose my car for a day and a half, but my dealer did good in the end. Hope this post helps others with similar issues in the future.
