Default Replacement of the headlight unit on my 2015 Q5

So I am trying to find out how to change my headlight unit, a branch flicked up and broke the plastic front and i bought a replacement unit. I have disconnected and undone the screws (x3) and then the unit slides out an inch or so then catches on the bottom!
I am fearfull this is going to be a bumber off job however any ideas advice greatly received!

You're going to need to remove (or at least disconnect part of) the bumper most likely. I've been told a couple of people were able to flex the bumper enough to slide the headlight unit out, but that didn't seem possible when my ecodes went in. You can also try loosening the tray itself.

Here's a good reference: drumnjuny's DIY install guide
