Me too... Ive always had Japanese (Toyota, Nissan) but the Lexus is just ugly to me as well as uncomfortable (foot position particularly). Wasnt impressed by Acura either. I really like the Q5 and love the mountains of torque of the TDI as well as the range. I started looking at the Q3 but quickly migrated to the Q5. Very happy!

Assuming mine is on Appollon Leader, she's in the Atlantic somewhere...

There is no fair way to compare a Japanese car to a German. They're not even in the same ballpark when it comes to driving performance and feel. You will probably never be able to go back.

And I guess it logically makes sense... Japan is so densely populated that there are traffic jams all the time, so the engineers don't build cars to actually be driven because you can't really "drive" in Japan. They are built to sit still in traffic and not use too much gas in the process.

German cars are built to drive, and drive fast.

Hi Don,
Do you have a similar schedule for the Goodwood? (and perhaps a link to where you are getting these schedules from) :-)
Thanks,
Mark

Pretty sure that I'm on the Goodwood (currently loading in Emden) my SA sent me a copy of my order status and load ETA is 3/3/15 with a Houston ETA of 3/24/15. Hoping that we'll beat that. Anyone else on the Goodwood?

Well... hope you are right... but.. those dates match up closer to the Genius Highway which on the week 9 schedule as arriving 3.3 in Emden and 3.21 in Houston or Kentucky Highway 3.2 and 3.20 . If Goodwood is in Emden now.. I would expect it to be gone before 3.3. Goodwood is also late so VW scheduling probably wouldnt take that fact into account. Suggest hitting up SA early next week and get the 'actual' on load date and that should help confirm it.

Hopefully we will get a week 10 schedule tonight or tomorrow.

Actually the Genius or Kentucky would be better and sooner - I'll contact my SA next week
Thanks
