Not sure how many others are following the Genius Highway but looks like it unloaded on the 23 March in Brunswick and now on it's way to Houston. I was waiting for it to unload in GA so hopefully I'll have my new SQ5 by early next week. SA is still light on details.

My Q5 is on the Genius as well, looks like she's just about to enter the Gulf near Havana. The next message that we'll hear will probably be Saturday when she docks in Houston.

Looks like Houston is backed up a little. My car is on the Kentucky Highway which has been sitting in the gulf outside of port for two days now. Looks like it will be next to go in and is scheduled to unload tomorrow.

It definitely is. Bravery Ace and Goodwood sat at anchor for approximately 4-5 days. Hopefully they are getting caught up now.

Just under 1300 miles right now.... Ive only put fuel in it twice LOL. Its getting just over 29 mpg. Love that TDI.
If you decide to do some vagcom tweeks, just let me know.
Are you going to do any paint treatment? There is a great detailer just a few miles from your dealership... He did my OptiCoat JL's Showroom Car Detailing - Melbourne, Palm Bay, Port Malabar

Thanks Don! Beautiful ride and the Glacier white looks so smart! I like the driveway too.
I've been a hobbyist detailer for years and used the consumer grade CQuartz and Opti-Coat Nano coatings. My friends love checking out my cabinets and all the brushes, chemicals, etc... I just picked up some Microfiber Madness Towels and I swear the M3 winked at me when I used the Crazy Pile on her. Microfiber Madness - www.CarPro-US.com
I do plan on doing a clear bra on the A4 and may checkout the Modesta coatings.

I had Opti-Coat Pro on my S6, but recently removed it and did XPel Ultimate and then Modesta BC-03 over the whole thing. The BC-03 is more clear in appearance on my white car. The Opti had yellowed some in the 1 year of use.
We just got my wife's Sepang Blue SQ5 and my detailer did a coat of Modesta BC-03 and then a second coat of BC-05 over that. It's super-protected.

The Modesta coatings are probably the best on the market right now.

Do you use a specific quickdetailer or car wash soap for the Modesta? I really am intrigued by the addiitonal thickness the Modesta provides.
Did you use these guys?
