Best way I know of is to find a place that sells them by length and fitting, then find one that tops out an inch or two shorter. Don't assume that the length of the piston is the same as the amount you want it lower. In other words, an inch shorter may lower it 2-3" Best to measure you normal length full open, then lower it to where you want it and measure again. The ball ends are usually a standard size, but best to verify.

NAPA and the more professional parts places will likely have a variety of lengths. I'll do a little research and see if there is an online place.
