I can only assume that's the case here. I would also be curious as to the ACTUAL difference. I would actually tend to lean away from the OEM tire in this case toward the more expensive...but again, I would probably want to know for certain that there is indeed a difference.
The descriptions of both tires are identical, I decided on the cheaper one because nobody could tell the difference between the two. I have the same Latitudes in the same size on my RX350 (2.5 y.o.) so I will be able to compare the thread pattern and sidewall when I get the new tires. BUT, the RX may have the Audi OEM tires and not mass-market ones.
I could have ordered two+two just see what the difference is (at a cost)
