Thanks guys, especially Spijun. (Who's English is still far better than that of many people living here.(G)
Now I guess I'll have to order a special Audi Fuel Filler Compartment Drain Tube Snake to get that hose unclogged. But at least I know which quadrant to go looking in.

A small update since this is a frequent issue on Q5s, mine included.
Revised replacement is 8K0 862 153 F.
After ordering the part number, I managed to fix the old part number with WD40 as seen in youtube video. First checked that the solenoid gets power when locking and unlocking (trembles), then tried 3 in 1 oil but did not work (too thick) then I got the WD40, put the straw inside the back opening, and sprayed the internal mechanism.
Worked. A five minute job.
The moral of the story, try to fix this before ordering a replacement part. I managed to received a refund, since seller did not dispatch .. Happy that this issue has been sorted out.
