Yes, it's a MY 2016 USA car. I wasn't interested in or following Audis in 2015 but apparently a few new 2016s were leased to dealers for use as service loaners. I don't know if any were sold to consumers.

My car was on a three month lease to Audi of St. Paul, MN. The lease ended with 2300 miles. I bought it in August 2016 with 2800 miles. It was legal for sale as a "used car" while the VW Stop Sale is still in effect.

In August 2016 there were numerous off lease 2016 TDIs advertised on cars.com. They disappeared quickly.
