I was surprised that there doesn't seem to be any limitation on how high you can set it. Andy says his started at 28 and he tested up to 32 without problem. Mine was already at 34 when I started. Andy says this is the global default and mentions to be careful above 36C as it could result in damage.

Given that it's not cold yet, i don't really know if 34C is warm enough. I can say that it does get noticeably warm at this setting. I am going to hold off setting it any higher until we start having really cold days and I see how 34 feels. If it doesn't feel like enough, then I may try 35, then 36, but not go above that.

Makes sense. I will have to try to figure out what my base setting is.

Thanks.

Below is a summary of all the mods I've done with OBDeleven so far.

Mods I'm hoping will be discovered at some point:
Open sunroof by slide instead of tilt when holding key fob (AndyHUD going to publish this)
Stop sun roof shade screen from opening when using key fob to open windows
Touchpad shortcut keys for nav destinations, phone numbers, etc
show gear in D/S in HUD -- only showing with lap timer RUNNING

I know I read it somewhere here, but can't seem to find it. Where did you get OBDEleven in the US?

With respect to the yellow-highlighted row, is this suggesting that you successfully combined the front parking sensors with some form of camera activation? This would be my holy grail and I would appreciate any insight you could provide.

Thanks.

No, I was hoping the mod in the yellow row might do it, but it didn't. I think it may have changed the content of the display when in full parking mode with the center option (overhead view only) chosen. But I'm not sure because I really didn't pay much attention to what that view looked like before.

If I even get around to it, I'll take some pics of what it looks like now, then reverse the mod and see what changes (if anything). Low priority though.

RickObe: Thanks for this mod, I tried the unlock mode without this and it didn't work.

1. Module 46 (Central Convenience)
2. Adaptation
3. Central Locking Sys: Beep at Opening
Set to On (This is needed to make it beep on unlock)

You also have to enable single_beep under a sounder_settings: beeptime_opening_central_locking.

EDIT 2: I checked mine, the faults button does scroll up, so it may still be visible for you. please check.

First you have to click the security access and enter passcode for the module 20103, then go to Adaptation button to set the Internal SIM use to "automatic."

I used my VZ microSIM with a regular sim adapter (when you push it, you will hear a click, it only goes in one way. If you don't hear a click, turn it around and try. Do not force it), and the menu showed up after a minute or two. I had to enter the APN as "vzwinternet" manually to get the system get online.
So you are using a Verizon sim? I thought you could only use GSM carriers, how does the Verizon sim compare?
