Just installed a Chipwerke module in my S4... WOW

I bought this also directly from the website. I will verify the crazy fast shipping but I live in Monterey, Ca and these ship out of the Los Angeles area. Install was EASY, took three minutes tops. Power gains were immediate and substantially noticeable, ESPECIALLY in the higher RPMs where some boost is bleeded out. I did notice some lag, not necessarily with the shifts but with power delivery. The shifts (I have the DSG) were quick and crisp like they always have been but under WOT, the car would shift gears and start to accelerate and then about a second later, an exhilarating surge of power would follow. Definitely not a linear delivery of power. Maybe this is the "lag" some people are talking about here. My sales receipt lists the settings at 4-1 but I dont see any way to change that or dont know how.
Right on. Yeah, it was a huge bang for buck mod on my S4. The settings are inside the box. You unscrew it and see two dials. The left dial is the one to be changed. Looks like your left dial will be at 4...you leave the right dial alone at setting 1. If it is not jerky for you I would leave it alone. With CA crap octane I wouldnt go above 4-1 anyways. Going down to 3-1 if it was jerky would be an option that wouldnt likely lose much, if any, hp.

Just installed a cw pro on my 2015 dsg. Settings at 5-1, 94 octane E10 gas. Woah. Huge improvement over stock. Even at half throttle it is much improved. Shifts are fast, but as another poster mentioned, after the shift, there is a power lag.. almost like turbo lag, then it hits hard and pushes back in the seat with serious thrust. Finally has top end acceleration closer to that of my e39 m5. Huge thumbs up on this product. Purchased it monday night, and had it at my door (in canada) Wednesday afternoon.

Proven results
Had this installed on an otherwise bone-stock S4. I was recently at Infineon Raceway for their Wednesday night drags. I had about 96-ish octane in the tank and fairly bald front tires. I did crank the dial all the way up to 7 but was still impressed with this quarter-mile time. Almost M3 territory in a 4,000 lb car! Im on the left.

The ECU tune is doing what chipwerke is doing, except in a more sophisticated way. It might keep the BPV closed a little longer, which is why there are guys running dual pulleys and experimenting stacking chipwerke on top of their tunes. Again, a lot of info over on other site.

I have a chipwerke Pro that I just removed from my 2013 S4 in preparation to trading in my car for my upcoming RS3. I had it for the past 2 years without any issues. The car feels sluggish now without it. Makes a big difference. Cool thing is that no TD1, just remove it before taking car to the dealer and there is no trace of it.
If anyone is looking to get one, PM me. I have everything including box, manuals, etc.
