i need help with the RS4 clutch
i recently purchase a stage 3 s4 that it should have a RS4 clutch, ....well my problem is that it engages very low, and when i try putting it in reverse it grindes and all the rest of the gears are a bit hard to put it . Tonight while i had it in reverse, with the clutch in, it was moving a bit like the clutch wasn't fully disengaged. if anybody knows anything that would be great. Is there an adjustament on this clutch system?

Hate to break it to you but sounds like your clutch is busted. I had the same symptom with my stock clutch before I had to swapped it out for a new one. There is documentation in the archives.

Could it also be possible that the hydraulic system has air in the lines? So the clutch isn't fully disengaging when pushed in? Once the car is moving, does the clutch slip at all? Try lugging the car up an incline and see if the RPMs suddenly start to rise without the car matching in acceleration. If that happens you can bet your clutch is toast. But it sounds like you're saying your clutch won't disengage properly. I'm guessing this could also be a bad clutch slave.

Check the hydraulic slave first, but if that doesn't do it, most likely the pressure plate. I don't want to sound like a naysayer and by all means try it out and let us know, but unfortunately, 9/10 this is not a simple bandaid like the article implies.

Unless I've missed something, the article is for moving the engagement location of your pedal, not the actual cylinder push point. That is, what you are trying to do is get your cylinder to push more, but that article just changes WHEN it pushes.
Bleed your system first and check for leaks. IF that doesn't help, you need a new clutch.
