so my s4 was wrecked and the insurance wants to scrap it. supposedly there is a lot of suspension damage. i didnt see it. my question to you all is ...

do i buy the car back and fix it or just buy a new one/something else.

It seems to be a cost/value question. I'd personally take the insurance money and REBUILD it with all the good parts like coilovers and adjustable control arms,anti sway bars,upgraded mounts exhaust etc. You'd have to determine the cost and desire. Let us know

if i keep the car insurance will pay me around 8k. dont think thats going to be enough to completely redo the suspension and still get the body work done. they claim the rear x member is damaged along with an assortment of control arms, hubs, bearings, and tie rods

still working on the price btw. they dont seem to recognize the fact that manuals sell for more than autos
