Should I get a S4? Opinions please..
A little background.. I put my name on the S4 list a couple years ago and ended up getting another car (couldn't wait forever..). I've always admired Audi's performance in touring car racing and I like the styling and technology.
I was recently called into the dealership to choose colours & options (yellow with silver alcantra inserts, loaded BTW) and it's got me seriously thinking about selling my car to pick up the S4 when it arrives..
My real issue is that while the S4 is more practical than my car, I don't know if I will find it 'sporty' enough.. I'm currently driving a 400+ HP 300zx and while I don't use the full power most of the time, it's nice to have the option (and when passing on the highway, it's fantastic..).
I read that Audi had some difficulties in getting the turbo engine right and had to reduce the displacement to solve head gasket sealing problems.. Does this mean that increasing the HP will be very expensive/dangerous? Are there going to be chips available to increase power as easily as with the 1.8T?
I'm really looking for any opinions here.. The Audi is certainly more practical (4 doors, awd).. Thanks.

I'd start by reading below and do a search on M3's...and I hope you didn't put a deposit ...
on an S4 2 years ago...
A Z compared to an S4? Seems like two different goals. I don't know if there is on car that can do it all. Maybe that RS4 - speed, quattro, space, comfort...
Why not keep your Z car? It sure is better looking then the new catfish version that they dreamed up.
