Tiptronic Issue???

Tiptronic Issue???
I'm having an issue when I shift at high RPMs in manual tiptronic mode. When I try to shift it feels like it goes into limp mode for about a second and will then shift. This problem does not exist when accelerating quickly in normal auto drive. It is not throwing any codes either. Anyone have any ideas?
About the car:
2001.5 Audi S4 Avant
Tiptronic with VAST tip chip
Sport mode code(00032 i think) through VAGCOM (Probably called something else)
