I think we should do something or recognize the schmuck that takes delivery of the 1st S4 in North America that actually hangs out here and could tell us about it and prove that they were first... like the first one to post a pic or show sales invoice or something...

Not only would this cause undue pressure on the dealers with all of us nerds bugging them constantly, but overall it will be really goofy! haha... let's have fun with the wait at the very least!

Let's get amped about this...

I was the first one in the US to get the Xenon headlights installed. My dealer says my particualar S4 won't be ready until Mid-November, but definitely before Christmas.

Count me in -- I'm getting the first one at my dealership (Fred Lavery -- Birmingham, MI) and expect to take delivery the first week of September.

I forsee some buy camping out at his dealer (on the west coast - of course. Oh, nevermind. This person would take delivery in the wonderfull state of Hawaii!1!) and bribing the manager to open at 12:01 AM, and taking delivery at opening time. Then, the winner would take a picture with a digital camera, and post it on the website - dated 12:02 AM.
