Default On balance I like it

I find 3G connection useful, especially searching local area. I have a Galaxy S4, which can do an equal job, but has a smaller screen and is not as convenient. Need to look away and the screen is not properly place.. I trained the MMI voice interface and it works pretty well. BTW, I like Sirius, though I'm not sure the traffic function does much.

Not sure what you mean...ALL traffic updates come from Sirius. If you ever get Stop & Go or Slow Traffic warnings, that's from Sirius. If you don't ever get these, I'm jealous.

The best deal for renewal is 30 months @ $450. However, history says that I'll have a different car in 30 months.
Comments please.
I did the $450 renewal. Agree, would rather the data could be served up from my phone's LTE connection but if that's not an option, it was worth it to me to keep the Google and hotspot functionality for what will very likely be the rest of the time I'm in the car. The lump sum just made me think about it as another $450 on an 80k car, somehow in my mind that was easier than seeing the charge every month.

Hopefully some genius on the forums will hack/retrofit the 3G hardware and software and implant the new 4G stuff going in the A3 next year.

Waiting for them to hack it so we can use our phone Internet.

As with my iPhone, it's a phone, not a lifestyle. Audi connect has been useful, but when I am driving, that's all I'm doing, and I don't have time or concentration to waste diddling, so I am hardly a power user. It's there, it's handy if I need it, but I usually know where I am going and probably don't utilize its full potential. Never used Sirus. When we are both in place in either car, the non-driver has found the hotspot useful.
