I am almost in the S6 Club---Order placed
#11
Still not in production. Does anyone see anything wrong with the status screen? Still can't figure out what's going on. I placed the order in mid November and it was entered into the system on December 12th.

Sorry to hear of your delays Alex, I switched my order from a 2015 S6 to the new 2016 S6 in early December and have been advised of a 3/30/2015 estimated delivery date. My sales advisor told me today that the car has been built and will go on the ship in the next week or so.

Can't wait till people actually start getting the refreshed models next month! Still not gas mileage info @fueleconomy.gov (which will be required before they can release them to customers). Should be up any day/week now.

I'm right there with you. Cannot wait. I can't even see a picture of the flat bottom wheel anywhere. The info will hopefully start flowing on the forums soon!!

I did some quick looking around and it appears that the UK rating changed ~2% on the EU combined cycle (30.1->30.7). Assuming that carries over to the US, the rating likely won't change since we don't use decimals.

I think the change was similar on the A6/A7 and it was enough to bump the rating here. EU ratings don't always translate directly to US ratings. Also, I'm as much excited about the mileage being actually posted (indicating that the models are cleared to be delivered) as any actual improvements.

I'm at about 17MPG on my 2015 Macan with start-stop, highway coasting, modern 3.0T engine, and a very efficient transmission. I don't think Porsche (or people who buy them) care about gas mileage much though lol

Yup, I drive 16 miles each day. I don't care about absolute fuel economy. What I do care about is relative fuel economy. I want to tear about in a twin-turbo V8 (plus an extra 700 lbs) and get better mileage than my NA V6.
