Just received my car back from its 15K service. Inovice indicated:

P244000: Secondary Air Injection System Switching Valve Stuck Open Bank1

P244200: Secondary Air Injection System Swithcing Valve Stuck Open Bank2

Both were passive/sporadic. Checked further and found a technical bulletin 2036558/1. Per bulletin need to replace secondary air pump. SOP part.

Anyone else encounter this? What is is this and is it common for Audis? This is my 1st Audi.

I picked up a VCDS cable a few weeks ago and saw that my '13 S6 has experienced this same issue (both codes, exactly as yours) in early September. During the course of tinkering some more, I saw that it happened again just a few days ago. The DIS never signaled a problem and the car never missed a beat, but I'm glad this is a "known" issue that there's a TSB for. I will have it looked at during the 15k mile service.

I had my 15k scheduled maintenance yesterday on my '13 S6. I asked for this TSB to be done and was told that they wouldn't unless the "check engine" light was on.

I also asked for the other recent one mentioned on this forum regarding hesitation: 2035235/2, and got the same unsatisfactory response.

No issues or check engine light. I had no idea it was happening until they scanned the car and found the issue. It is in the service bay today to make the fix.
