Other considerations to S7 specifically BMW 650xi gran coupe
Today, scandalously, I test drive the BMW 650xi Gran Coupe. I pretty much have my kind set in the S7 to replace my totaled RS5 but figured I've got time I might as well peak at other options.
BMW has improved their interiors a lot. The car felt less nimble than the S7, but did have great acceleration. The main " selling point" is BMWs lease so much better due to higher ( inflated ) residuals mostly, and I can lease a $110,000 650 for same price as the $95k Audi. In the end I still think I prefer the S7, but wanted to see if other people cubs users the BMW and any opinions welcome. I doubt anyone here will talk e out of an S7, Dino figured it was safe to ask:-)
Thanks in advance
Andrew

I thought about the 650 GC and a Panamera GTS. However, $$ for $$ the Audi provides the most for your money. The options for both the BMW and Porsche are a bit overpriced. The S7 and the GTS have close to the same performance, but are about $42,000 apart in price. I didn't like the feel of the BMW, no matter what its price.

the 6-series is the only BMW line i truly love styling-wise - and i actually love both the coupe and the GC. having said that, it's way more $$$ for the same amount of car, and.....given your other forum post about looking forward to the sport exhaust.....
i was in the grocery store parking lot the other day and heard an engine sound reminiscent of my 1999 maxima -- i turned around, and to my surprise, it was a 650gc. while i'm sure it sounds better than that at high rpm, my more general point is that the S7 exhaust note (esp with the sport exhaust) really is a good time. the bmws not so much...

I like the styling of both Audi 7's and BMW 6's.
I never test drove the BMW because when I sat in the back seats of the BMW, it felt very tight and claustrophobic. Also trunk space is small compared to the Audi.
Plus, in Los Angeles, BMW 6's and the Porsche Panamera are all over the city. We don't see as much of the Audi A7's, even rarer are the S7 and the RS7. The Audi is much more special in my opinion.
