Forgot to mention that yes as soon as they plug in their diagnostic machine they can tell the ECU upgrade is there. Even if you put it in stock mode.

Regarding your M or AMG comment... In all fairness, Audi's S models intentionally don't line up w/ those. An S6 is comparable to a 550 BMW or E550. The S7 is comparable to a 650 GC or a CLS 550. The S4 is comparable to a 335. The Audi blows the doors off all of those. If you want something that compares to a M or AMG, you need to look at a RS5 (compares to a M4 or C63 AMG coupe) or RS& (comparable to a M6 GC or CLS63 AMG).

That sucks! I contend that Audis are faster at most price points with BMW's M or MB's AMG lines.
