Default 2018 Q5 MSRP

I am told that the prices for the new Q5 will be in this week and we can order them in the US. I spoke with the dealer rep and he said price would be MSRP. Curious if anyone else is in the process of ordering and what discount you are getting off MSRP.

If you are from Kirkland, WA as your username implies, MSRP will be their ask for most of the year I bet. Seattle area dealers don't give much unfortunately. I will be buying in Oregon when the time comes.

Can't wait for pricing. I just hope there isn't an issue with those Q5s that have suddenly disappeared from Audi websites showing previously as "in transit."

I heard the same thing from someone else in Seattle. I heard from one dealer that they expect their "in transit" ones to actually already be sold to buyers before they arrive.

I'm sure some are sold, but I doubt most are. Most people aren't putting down money on a car with no price and never having driven it.

When the Q7 came out, my dealer had 1 sold before they came in. About a month after they were on the lot, most of our incoming ones became sold.

There are 4 dealers in the Seattle area so will check with all of them.

Checking Vegas, Salt Lake, Boise and maybe Bend Or. There are 6 dealers in those 4 markets but waiting for pricing to continue. My first Audi so I'm also looking at Service facilities. On other brands Cali and Denver have the most competition in the West and usually one or two dealers are aggressive. I don't want to get too far from the dealer for a few bucks but want to keep the local dealer competitive.

I have fam in Boise so that might be a good option. There's a dealer in Bend? Very cool.

That's surprising on a brand new model that's not in dealers yet. Good to know - and good luck!

Looking at getting into my first Audi as well - but may end up in a new/gently used MKI.
