Hi guys I'm new on here and was needing some help. I've recently replaced the glow plugs, altanator pully, new starter motor and had a service and my a3 still struggles to start especially in the mornings. Can anyone give me some advice on what they think it could be. The engine turns over at least 8-10 times before it starts. Thanks

The timing could be retarded, meaning the fuel is being injected at the wrong time.

I had a couple other ideas, but I don't think they apply in your case. One was the coolant temp sensor which, if faulty, could lead the engine control module to adjust the timing in the wrong direction.
