Help me find my G22 VSS Speed Sensor
Hi Guys,
I am baffled. I don't seem to be able to find the G22 VSS Vehicle Speed Sensor on my 04 TT 225. Now I am not talking about the ABS sensors but the G22 Sensor that controls the Speedometer.
My Speedo died a few days ago and I am trying to take the Speed Sensor out to clean it or if that doesn't work replace it.
It is suppose to be located somewhere on top of the transmission housing. I took the covers,the AirCleaner and MAF off to look at the tranny housing but I can't find anything that resembles a Speed Sensor. Can anyone help me located that darn thing?

Same question
My TT is an 04' 1.8L 180 hp. I'm trying to locate the Speedometer VSS G22. Bentley says 'trans. Output flange, Passenger side'. Do I start by removing belly pan? Is it visible from the top anywhere?
