ive never owned a car that sits as low to ground as TT. ive been pretty careful about steeper slopes on driveways/curb cuts - but nevertheless i accidentally hit a pothole at the end of a pretty steep driveway and it scratched up the underside of my front bumper pretty bad. fortunately you cant see it unless you get on the ground and look under. still, pretty bummed.

hopefully others can manage to avoid this fate. im guessing its not worth bothering with body shop.

One must go very slowly at end of driveways. Perhaps a polishing machine with some compound would make the injury less noticeable.

To be perfectly frank, unless it drives you crazy which it doesn't sound like, I would leave it alone. No matter how careful you are, it's going to happen again.
