2001 Audi S8 Error Codes ??

2001 Audi S8 Error Codes ??
Two error codes popped up on the radar this past month, during a routine check:
1) 00771 - Fuel Level Sensor (G)
30-10 - Open or, Short to Plus - Intermittent
2) 17115 - Gear 1
P0731 - 35-10 - Incorrect Ratio - Intermittent
Any suggestions for #2 (17115 - Gear 1)?
I hope this is not a first sign of a failing tranny. Car seems to be shifting better after the Transmission service (I also had the various gaskets, filters changed in the process).
