A6 1.8Q (ADR) 1996 - Vagcom results
Hello.
Just did a vagcom scan for the first time. Got a couple of fault codes. Been searching around to help identify the problem, but was a lot of different thoughts.. Anyway I now come here too seek some help to solve these codes. Don't notice a anything particular while driving except excessive fuel consumption. Here are the results of the scan:
Address 01: Engine
Controller: 8D0 907 557 F
Component: 1,8L R4/5V MOTR HS D04
Coding: 04202
Shop #: WSC 23250
5 Faults Found:
18010 - Power Supply Terminal 30: Voltage too Low
P1602 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
00561 - Mixture Adaptation
12-00 - Adaptation Limit (Mul) Exceeded
17967 - Throttle Valve Control part (J338): Fault in basic settings
P1559 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16518 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: No Activity
P0134 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
00561 - Mixture Adaptation
15-10 - Adaptation Limit (Add) Not Reached - Intermittent
And also the AIRBAGS!
Address 15: Airbags
Controller: 8A0 959 655 C
Component: Airbag V AUDI D00
Coding: 01022
Shop #: WSC 02324
1 Fault Found:
00532 - Supply Voltage B+
07-10 - Signal too Low - Intermittent
My car uses about 1.1 L/10km which is very high. I have long suspected the MAF/Lamba sensors. Does this scan verify this theory? If so, will the next thing to do be to change the MAF, Lambda or both? There is also something about the throttle valve?
Can I fix these sensors and valve just by cleaning them? If so, how?
Also can the electrical faults be releated to my aftermarket xenons have a different colortemp. on each side of the car? (tried to change all the bulbs earlier but that didn't fix it).
A lot of questions for a first post, any help would be greatly appricated. Thx
