I have a 2002 audi a4 I went to a general repair place that specialize on Audi VW this is the code they found 01435 Brake pressure electr. sender -1--G20 fault in current circuit

Problem basic sting not carried out brake pedal position (BPP) switch incorectly adjusted wiring
(brake fluid pressure sensor) code 01435

I was told I need a new abs computer and to cacll audi customer service to see if they can fix it since its close to my warranty expiration date? Is this the problem for sure? They did look under the dash for awhile . I was hopeing for a brake light switch. If anyone can read this code as to what needs to be done. please leave a post thanks
