Default Connection issue

I posted a while back about not being able to connect to my diagnostics system at all. I was getting the k-line stuck error. My battery recently died and was replaced, now I don't get that error. I went to check out the system again and now I'm able to connect to the transmission and radio contol modules only, all the others give me "no response from controller". The car is a 98 a6, any ideas on what can solve this problem? thanks.
