Has anyone on any Platform been able to change which shift program your Tiptronic has
chosen to use via VAG-COM?
Basically what I want to be able to do is make the system choose a different shift style rather than the one it has chosen. I would like to try out the least aggressive and most aggressive programs without making it relearn by my driving style.

not worth it... get the TipChip
I did a bunch of forum research on this whole Tip-VAG mod issue and basically I found that is was a mod that had allot more benefit to the A6 guys than the A4s. The issues they were seeing solved were never problems on the A4s.
If you want a more aggressive and firmer shift you'll never get it through VAG, you need to get the TipChip. And last I looked it was ~$250, well worth it. It's also great with the GIAC chip as well. The two work great together.
