SOLD: 2001.5 Audi S4 Avant 6MT 154k miles
SOLD - thanks everyone for your interest.
Asking $5500
I'm selling my 2001.5 Audi S4 Avant, with 6-speed manual transmission. It is silver with black leather interior; has the standard power sunroof, power-adjustable and heated front seats, Bose stereo with aftermarket iPod adapter. It runs great, handles well, and has a solid chassis. I am the second owner, and have owned it since it was 2 years old. It has never been in an accident, and has no damage other than noted in "Known Issues" below. Otherwise, it is in good condition for a vehicle this age. Has had recent timing belt / water pump service.
It is located in the metrowest Boston area.
VIN and full service history available upon request.
More photos are available at: 2001 S4 Avant by Ihaveacamera | Photobucket
Only lightly modified:

- Originally registered to winter Olympian Bode Miller for two years (photocopy of registration provided).
- Hood has paint chips and surface rust at leading edge (as shown in photos at link above); no perforation.
- Rear passenger door has scratch and light indentation (as shown in photos at link above).
- Center dash status display has the infamous missing pixels, is currently illegible (as shown in photos at link above). I have the replacement display and will include it in the sale, but will require professional soldering to install it in instrument cluster.
- Sunroof switch needs to be disassembled and cleaned.
- 12v outlet in the luggage area has a broken hinge (as shown in photos at link above) but still supplies 12v.
- Wheels have curb scars, but are straight.
- EDIT: Car had been sitting unused for a few weeks; when I started it recently it had a rough idle which I believe is a vacuum leak. I plan to have that repaired before the sale goes through, but it still cruises smoothly and accelerates strongly in case you'd like to have a look at it before it's addressed.
- Set of 4 Blizzak LM-60 225-45-17 high-performance winter tires, mounted on stock S4 wheels; 10k miles on tires, still have ?/32 tread left. Stock S4 wheels have curb rash but are straight. Tires alone cost $675 new from TireRack; Asking $400 with wheels.
- Audi roof load bars with locking end caps, asking $100 (paid $231 in 2005, new around $327)
- Ziza LED interior lighting kit, asking $70 (new $99)
- Brand new, uninstalled S4 front belly pan, asking $120 ($190 from ECS)

Please note - I added an item under "Known Issues":
