Default Audi Experts I needs HELP - Front Wheel well question and Xeno lights

My Audi came back from the shop and I have two questions that I need the expert (you guys) to help me. I have a 2003 A4.

1. When I look at the front wheel well I do not see the "felt" carpet lining inside the wheel well like in the rear wheel well. I also am able to see some type of control arm metal exposed. When looking at the front wheel well are you supposed to see the metal suspension control arm. I am not sure if I am discribing it correcty.

2. I do not have my manual but my lights were changed out due to damaged. They are Xeon. However when I start the car I get a warning light that shows the head lights with an arrow going up and down. WTF is that. And do you know how I can fix it??

Thanks for your help,
Mike

Default this is what the front wheel well looks like...

<center><img src="http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q33/x1rider/bearingpost15.jpg"></center><p>you can compare yours to the pic. There is no carpet in the front one, just plastic. Are your lights reconnected? If I remember well, you get an error code if you start the car with the lights not connected.

Thanks for the picture.

Yes, my wheel well looks like that. Thanks

My lights are connected because they work when I turn them on but I get the warning light with the two arrows. I have no idea what is going on with the lights??

Default If you have a Vag-Com, try doing an autoscan...

it might give you an indication of what's going on.

The felt liners are in the back.

Yeah, probably just a code that needs to be cleared.

Default If the lights were removed and the ignition turned to "on," the self leveling

test would have been commanded (and failed because the lights weren't there). It's possible the code is just residual from that condition. With the lights back in (I presume they put the same ones back in and are the correct type), the code may go away after a certain amount of key cycles.

Your other option is to scan the body modules for codes and clear any dealing with the lights.

No, the lights are new ones. They got damaged in the accident and had to be replaced.
