I can check on this for you. What model of Goodyear and Pirelli are you referring to?

What types of pireillis did you have, and do you like them. I'm looking for new tires and heard bad things about the cinturato p7.

My '11 A4 is fitted with the Sport Pkg and is equipped with the 18" Pirelli summer tires. It probably is the P7 Cinturato. I liked them so much I bought a 2nd set from the Classifieds section on this forum. To me, it's been an outstanding tire except for what I'd describe as a short life due to its soft compound. Ride quality and noise level are among the best of any tire I've owned. (Road surface conditions are quite poor where I drive.) Rain performance is excellent, grip is excellent. Hard driving will probably yield less than 20k miles. I suspect I'll get about 25k miles per set. Road force number on all 8 tires has been negligible, wheels balance up with practically no weight. Extremely smooth, calm ride on the highway.

I got caught in the snow once. They are a disaster, as expected.

These high performing summer tires are generally going to have a "short" life time.

I'll probably been done with my 2nd set of these by the end of this calendar year. Not sure what I'll fit next. I would certainly pick up a third set if the price was right. The tire leaves little to be desired, IME. This particular tire was the pinnacle of Pirelli's offerings at one time. I was initially skeptical, but the tires have been great in this application.
