TPMS replace (non-dealer) shop suggestion in South Bay SoCal
Hi, the TPMS fail light is on in my 2007 A6 3.2 Quattro.
Resetting it lasts a couple miles before it turns back on again.
My regular shop says their computer does not support TPMS replacements in Audi vehicles.
There is a very big price difference between having the sensors replaced at Audi vs. a non-Audi shop, and I'd prefer to save the cash and have it done at a specialist but non-dealer shop.
Any recommendations for a shop in the South Bay in SoCal, near Manhattan Beach, that will be able to replace the TPMS sensors?
Thanks
Pieter

Thx, seems easy enough.
The shop I use initially said they will install Titan replacement units (I see Titan brand on the page you linked), and then called me later saying their computer does not support Audi TPMS replacements, wonder why they computer needs to be involved?
I would then like to find a shop that can do any/most Audi repairs, currently having some ECU issues, any recommendations for good shops in the South Bay area?

Replacing TPMS sensors doesn't require any programming. Just a simple tire job. Than you set New Tires in MMI and car recognize new sensors in about 20 minutes of driving.

There are two indies shops in Pasadena who specialize in Audi. The owners were factory trained. That may be too far for you.

I just ordered new tires for my S8 yesterday at Discount Tire. They said that they could replace my TPMS sensors, that they had ones to work with Audis' and could replace them for $60.00 ea.

Hey Mishar,
These sensors do not match what I currently have in my 07' A8. Obviously due to the fact that they are not factory. So I take it there are many aftermarket brands that will work just fine. should I buy 5? Just blew a tire and apparently have to replace all 4. (Is that true?) Any thoughts on descent tires around 200 each? Dealer want 300 to 350 each.
