Audi wins 6 hours of Austin

Austin, TX – Audi come first and 3rd in their first visit to the COTA in Austin TX. The Audi teams faced tough competition from their Japanese rival Toyota, but thanks to great strategy and outright speed, the #2 Audi of Allan McNish, Tom Kristensen and Loïc Duval reined supreme.

The scenic and technical COTA track apparently suited the Audi very well, and the R18 e-tron quattros looked beautiful and graceful as they navigated the well laid out circuit.

Honestly it was nice to see the Audi have the legs on the Toyota, instead of trying to rely on economy.
