Default A4 parts

Hi all,

I have a 2000 1.8T AWD A4 and a week ago I hit a curb and ever since, I hear a low grinding noise from the wheel on front passenger side (noise appear to follow the rotation of the wheel). Made the mistake of taking it to a local tire/brake and alignment center. The tech said all I need is to replace the tie rod and do alignment. They did the job and cost me $350 and now the noise gotten even louder. Took it back to the shop, now they say it could be the front bearing and gave me quote of $360 total with $200 for the front bearing.

Is the diagnosis and price reasonable? Have any one had similar job done on their A4?

I checked http://www.blauparts.com, they list ~$60 for the front bearing kit. Is this the same part as what the shop is quoting $200 for? What is a good place/website to look for Audi OEM parts?

Thanks in advanced
-John

Default PureMS.com and that sounds like a front wheel bearing all the way

you are going to need an alignment after doing it too
