Hi audi friends i have a 2001 audi a4 that i bought for a project it was in a preaty bad accident and got smacked good in the front drivers side....Prior to accident the car ran like it came off the lot i was told that by the seller the car has 57k and the crank shaft moves so the engine isnt siezed when i turn the key it makes a click and there is a slight humming or beep coming from the engine when i turn the key i was told by a friend that was near the engine when i turned the key that he couldnt here the starter engaging and that the starter looks good and the wires are good on it too i checked the fuses and they all check out and i have a few wires that go to the radiator that are unhooked and im not sure if that has something to do with it but i was told that the engines computer or ecu is not telling the engine is okay to start so there for the starter wont kick on i am not well experienced in any of this stuff this is my first project car and im learning eveything as i go im in dier need to get this beast started and hope someone can help me

The click is the starter solenoid hit it with a hammer not to hard to break it but enough to unsieze it, also make sure battery full and a booster pack wont hurt
