audi a5 1.8 tfsi 2012
hi I have an audi a5 1.8 tfsi 2012, and few months ago I got engine management light on the dash board. I took it down to local garage and mechanic connected computer reader and said p2681error code with engine coolant bypass valve. so I asked how much it would cost to fix the issue and he said no more than £100. but I was using the car for work on daily basis, one morning on way to work I got message on dashboard and it said engine over heating or something like that also the engine temperature gauge needle was on the read marking. I took it back to mechanic and he said its the water pump need replacing I paid him twice for the diagnostics and he is not telling me whether its the electric water pump or the manual water pump.
my thing is that I have been to some many different mechanics and everyone says different stuff to me, so its scared the hell out of me.
has anyone else on experienced same issue if so please can you let me know whats the best thing to do.
thanks
