Catch Can or Simplified Recirc?
I got a P2404 Leak Detection Pump circuit code today...car currently does not have a PCV but recircs into the Crankcase...is this sufficient and reliable or would a catch can be a better try? Picture for reference: 034 Si hose PCV nipple has a brass 90° back to the Crankcase...

I keep getting the P02404 after clearing it about every 150 miles or so...is how I have the PCV bypass/re-route done with the 034 silicone tubing setup, from the brass elbow, it connects back to the actual crankcase; is this the reason I am throwing this code repeatedly? Is there a better option to ensure the CEL isn't activated without actually using the PCV system? Would a catch-can be appropriate here?

Is there a thread or better place to find said information out? I understand this is a completely ambiguous code but I'm just most curious what others have done to mitigate it without removing the whole EVAP system and tuning it out...?
