Hello all,
I recently purchased a Audi S3 8l from Japan, i am trying to get it to pass a out of province inspection and having one issue that is preventing me from passing.

My Check Engine light will not come on whether i have a code or put my key to Acc. I have taken out my cluster and it looks like it has never been removed before. Ive been told the light is a led soldered to the cluster circuit board so couldn't be easily pulled. I looked to see if maybe the light was painted or marked over but doesn't look like that either.

Anyone have any idea of things i can check/diagnose? i honestly have no clue where to start, and of course this car is impossible to find info on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
