desiling noise still around after i changed the cam chain tensioner.
Any ideas? changed the cct and all the gaskets. After changing it the noise went away and stayed away for a few days. Then came back and now it shows up and leaves every so often. Any ideaS?

I have the same noise and was wondering if it could be my cam tensioner too. My noise is mostly when the engine is warm at idle though. HAve you had any luck diagnosing this yet? If not I would suggest that you do an oil pressure test, this can tell you if you may have a bad oil pump.

Did you check your oil Pressure? I have the exact same issue but am trying to determine if my oil pressure is correct or not. 18psi at idle.
