Please help!!
Hello. I just purchased a 2006 Audi a4 1.8T from a private owner. I was given a copy of everything that was replaced (timing belt, water pump, etc) I drove the car 100 miles and my oil light went on. I added a quart of oil and another 30 to 40 miles down the road the oil light was on again. Upon further inspection I noticed that there was a significant amount of oil in the coolant. I took it to a reputable german car shop where they preformed compression tests (all good) and combustion tests (also good) so they concluded it was the oil cooler and it was replaced and they did a flush. After getting the car back 40 miles later the same problem happened. I lost a quart of oil and there was a layer of clean oil in the coolant. The car runs fine..no oil smell..no smoke..good pickup..doesnt overheat . The shop has no idea what to do next and says they need to tear apart the engine to figure it out which is thousands of dollars more. Anyone have any suggestions or similar issues before I just get rid of this thing and cut my losses?

Not leaking oil. Just noticed a small amount of coolant in oil but not much. Car going through 1 quart of oil into coolant every 10 minutes. Took it to a new shop that wants to check oil filter housing (even though that was replaced as well). Very frustrating. Next step is tearing apart engine or taking a huge loss and selling it.
