Abnormally Aspirated vacuum reservoir installed
2. I then drilled 4 holes through the plastic drain pan and used two more zip ties to secure the vacuum reservoir.
3. I removed the OEM vac reservoir. There's only one screw that needed to be removed, then the reservoir could be removed, the vac hose could be simply be pulled off.
4. I did not drill a hole through the secondary firewall, because my car had a conveniently placed rubber plug with a few "noses" in the perfect location. I simply snipped off one "nose tip" and pulled the green OEM plastic vac tube through the nose and the firewall. Then I slipped a 3" piece of rubber vac tube over the reservoir's hose barb and the green vac tube.
I spent about 15 minutes doing this, but I did it in the dark, with only the underhood light.
The vacuum tube works flawlessly. As I've mentioned, when it arrived here in CA, it still contained low pressure, high altitude air from Colorado.
