how do I remove the crimped clamps that hold the oem DV and then reattach?

I carefully used a Dremel with a grinder wheel to remove mine...
...as the OEM "speed clamps" are a major PITA to remove. Find some stainless steel 1 1/2" band clamps at Lowes or Home Depot. I also used a zip tie for my vacuum hose, but make sure that it is TIGHT!

just be sure to>>>
wrap the tiny hose that goes to the top of the DV with tape (electical, duct tape, friction tape, etc) where the hose clamp will go or it will cut through the hose!
Or you can hold it on with a zip tie... alot of people do that too
